Focus and Scope

The Journal of International Community Engagement and Technology (JICET) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality articles focused on community empowerment, literacy, technological innovation, and participatory problem-solving. JICET provides an academic platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners worldwide to share practical implementations, digital literacy models, and educational technology interventions aimed at solving grassroots challenges in diverse communities.

Publication Frequency

JICET is published periodically twice a year (June and December).

Archiving Strategy (LOCKSS & CLOCKSS)

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
